On June 28, 2025, at the Bangladesh Nationalist Party’s “Sylhet Business Dialogue-2025” event at Jalalabad Gas Auditorium, Mendibag Point, Sylhet, the chief guest was Mr. Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Member, Standing Committee, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). On behalf of the businessmen of Sylhet, Mr. Khairul Hossain, President of Sylhet Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI), presented proposals on investment opportunities, obstacles and remedial measures in some important and notable sectors of the Sylhet region.
